Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to use-after-free in the ALSA USB MIDI2 endpoint handling code when performing delayed release of UMP endpoints. A local user can trigger delayed endpoint release conditions to cause a denial of service.
