Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote user to read arbitrary local files and perform server-side request forgery.

The vulnerability exists due to external control of file name or path in checkout mail EULA rendering through laravel-mail-auto-embed when processing user-controlled EULA content in checkout emails. A remote user can supply a crafted markdown image or raw HTML tag to read arbitrary local files and perform server-side request forgery.

Exploitation requires the default mail auto-embed behavior to be enabled and a working outbound mail transport so the generated checkout email is delivered to the user\'s mailbox.
