Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a remote user to cause data integrity loss and a partial denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to improper check for unusual or exceptional conditions in ImageUploadRequest::handleImages() and deleteExistingImage() when processing image uploads or image deletion operations. A remote user can submit an image upload that encounters a storage backend failure to cause data integrity loss and a partial denial of service.
User interaction is required, and exploitation depends on a transient storage backend failure such as a network, permission, or quota error.
