Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges.
The vulnerability exists due to improper access control in ARMv7-M MPU ports and ARMv8-M ports with MPU support enabled when enforcing memory protection boundaries. A local user can leverage the flaw to escalate privileges.
Only systems using the affected MPU-enabled ports are vulnerable.
