Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to a heap-based buffer overflow in papr_phy_attest_create_handle() when processing a user-supplied papr_phy_attest_io_block structure. A local user can provide a crafted cmd.length value to cause a denial of service.
