Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to a NULL pointer dereference in get_ss_info_from_atombios(), dce112_get_pix_clk_dividers(), and dcn3_get_pix_clk_dividers() when performing AMD display clock source operations. A local user can trigger the vulnerable code path to cause a denial of service.
