Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to improper synchronization in mlx5_mpesw_work() when handling a missing devcom component. A local user can trigger the affected work path to cause a denial of service.
The issue can cause a caller waiting on mpesww->comp to block indefinitely.
