Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a local attacker to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to an out-of-bounds read in lzo_decompress_bio() in the Btrfs LZO decompression logic when processing a crafted compressed extent. A local attacker can supply a crafted compressed segment length that extends beyond the compressed input to cause a denial of service.
