Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to a null pointer dereference in conntrack extension handling in netfilter when processing unconfirmed conntracks. A remote attacker can trigger code paths that dereference a missing conntrack extension to cause a denial of service.
