Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to an out-of-bounds read in the cs42l43 firmware loading code when processing a firmware image smaller than the firmware header. A local user can provide a specially crafted firmware image to cause a denial of service.
