Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a use-after-free.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free in the veth XDP enablement error-handling logic when rolling back queue initialization after failed XDP rxq registration. A local user can trigger XDP enablement failure to cause a use-after-free.

The issue occurs because a previously added NAPI structure is left dangling in the device NAPI list and may later corrupt reallocated memory during device teardown.
