Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper handling of memory allocation failures in cfg802154_switch_netns() when switching network namespaces. A local user can trigger an -ENOMEM condition to cause a denial of service.

The issue was identified in the ieee802154 subsystem.
