Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper handling of a reachable warning condition in parse_btf_arg in tracing probes when adding a kprobe event based on a raw address with a BTF parameter. A local user can add a crafted kprobe event to cause a denial of service.
