Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to disclose sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to out-of-bounds read in the ims-pcu driver when processing response data from device buffers. A local user can provide a short device response to disclose sensitive information.

The issue can also result in processing stale data from the buffers.
