Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass certificate status validation.

The vulnerability exists due to improper certificate validation in stapled OCSP response processing when accepting a response without binding it to the checked certificate. A remote attacker can supply a crafted stapled OCSP response to bypass certificate status validation.
