Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass certificate path validation constraints.
The vulnerability exists due to improper certificate validation in the S/MIME validator when trusting signer-asserted signingTime for path validation. A remote attacker can supply a crafted signed message to bypass certificate path validation constraints.
