The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to uncontrolled recursion in the OER parser when processing a self-referential IEEE 1609.2 schema without a depth limit. A remote attacker can supply crafted schema data to cause a denial of service.

The issue is triggered by self-referential IEEE 1609.2 schema content.
