Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to disclose sensitive information and cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to a signed integer overflow in apply_sample_adaptive_offset_sequential() in libde265/sao.cc when processing a crafted HEVC bitstream. A remote attacker can provide a crafted HEVC bitstream with large image dimensions to disclose sensitive information and cause a denial of service.
