Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to improper synchronization in the threaded WPP decode path when decoding a crafted H.265/HEVC bitstream. A remote attacker can submit a crafted H.265/HEVC bitstream to cause a denial of service.
Exploitation is scheduling-dependent and requires libde265 worker threads to be enabled.
