Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause an out-of-bounds memory access.

The vulnerability exists due to improper scatterlist iteration in the ls2k0500_mmc_reorder_cmd_data() and ls2k2000_mmc_reorder_cmd_data() functions when processing scatterlist entries during command-data reordering. A local user can trigger command-data reordering to cause an out-of-bounds memory access.
