Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to read memory out of bounds.

The vulnerability exists due to improper bounds checking in the AMD KFD CRAT parser when parsing a malformed CRAT table with an oversized subtype length field. A local user can supply a malformed CRAT table with an oversized subtype length field to read memory out of bounds.
