Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to access freed memory.

The vulnerability exists due to use-after-free in the sl82c105_bridge_revision function of the pata_sl82c105 driver when reading a PCI bridge revision after releasing the PCI device reference. A local user can trigger bridge revision handling to access freed memory.
