Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause OpenVPN to invoke an unintended executable.

The vulnerability exists due to an untrusted search path in tapctl when invoking netsh.exe. A local user can influence executable resolution to cause OpenVPN to invoke an unintended executable.
