Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows an attacker with physical access to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper initialization in ALSA scarlett2 notification endpoint handling when initializing a Scarlett2 device with a UAC2 status interrupt endpoint. An attacker with physical access can initialize the device to cause a denial of service.
