Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to a race condition in iommufd_ioas_change_process() when processing IOAS areas concurrently with iopt_map_file_pages(). A local user can trigger the race to cause a denial of service.
