Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper type conversion in the Rapoo HID driver's rapoo_probe function when processing a UHID-created device that identifies as USB. A local user can create such a device to cause a denial of service.
