Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to allocation of resources without limits or throttling in the PCD decoder when providing a specific command-line option. A local user can provide the specific command-line option to cause extra memory allocation and cause a denial of service.
