Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute arbitrary code.

The vulnerability exists due to missing authorization in Microsoft Office SharePoint when processing specially crafted page markup. A remote user can submit specially crafted page markup that bypasses a control-safety check and causes the server to load a code library from a remote network location under their control to execute arbitrary code.

The user must have permission to edit page content on a SharePoint site. User interaction is not required.
