Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause incorrect memory-lock accounting.

The vulnerability exists due to improper initialization of mlock_count in sort_folio() when handling an unevictable folio on a generation list. A local user can lock and unlock memory associated with an affected folio to cause incorrect memory-lock accounting.

Concurrent LRU isolation can observe a folio after it has been removed from the generation list.
