Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper handling of unsupported or invalid block status errors in dm-raid1 when processing unaligned bio vectors. A local user can submit unaligned bio vectors that cause a dm-raid1 mirror leg to fail to cause a denial of service.
