Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to read memory out of bounds.

The vulnerability exists due to improper length validation in gss_krb5_verify_mic_v2() when verifying a short RFC 4121 MIC token. A remote attacker can supply a short MIC token to read memory out of bounds.
