Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause list corruption and a use-after-free.

The vulnerability exists due to use-after-free in the IPU7 ISYS V4L2 asynchronous notifier handling when handling a probe error after notifier registration. A local user can trigger a subsequent probe failure to cause list corruption and a use-after-free.
