Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local privileged user to cause a use-after-free condition.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free in carddet_work in the VIA SD/MMC driver when queued card-detect work executes after driver removal. A local privileged user can trigger device removal while card-detect work is pending to cause a use-after-free condition.
