Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a use-after-free condition.

The vulnerability exists due to a failure to cancel scheduled work in the IPMI message handler when an error occurs during IPMI interface startup. A local user can cause an error during IPMI interface startup to cause a use-after-free condition.
