Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to delete registered remote tokens or install remote tokens.

The vulnerability exists due to an out-of-bounds read in the SMC-Rv2 LLC message queue handling when processing oversized SMC-Rv2 DELETE_RKEY_V2 or ADD_LINK messages. A remote attacker can send a crafted SMC-Rv2 LLC message to delete registered remote tokens or install remote tokens.
