Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free in the show_event_filters and show_event_triggers tracing files when reading files associated with a trace array while the trace array is removed. A local user can read one of these files while the associated trace array is removed to cause a denial of service.
