Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to an unchecked return value in ethosu_probe() when initializing an Ethos-U device after an MMIO mapping failure. A local user can trigger device initialization after an MMIO mapping failure to cause a denial of service.
