Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause memory corruption.

The vulnerability exists due to improper synchronization in the KVM s390 keyop handler when KVM_S390_KEYOP and KVM_S390_VM_MEM_LIMIT_SIZE run concurrently. A local user can invoke these operations concurrently to cause memory corruption.
