Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper resource shutdown or release in qla28xx_validate_flash_image() when validating a flash image that results in an error. A local user can submit a flash image that triggers a validation error to cause a denial of service.
