Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input, when the MongoDB database is configured with "networkMessageCompressors" setting enabled. A remote attacker can cause denial of service attack or modify memory contents on the system.
