Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to trigger a use-after-free condition.

The vulnerability exists due to use-after-free in amdgpu_dm_crtc_reset_state() when allocating a new CRTC state after freeing the old state. A local user can invoke CRTC state reset when memory allocation fails to trigger a use-after-free condition.
