Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to improper timeout calculation in xilinx_dma_poll_timeout in the Xilinx DMA driver when polling an unfulfilled DMA hardware condition with a zero delay. A local user can initiate a DMA operation under these conditions to cause a denial of service.
