Use-after-free in Linux kernel - CVE-2026-93100
Published: September 18, 2026
Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a local user to trigger a use-after-free condition.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free in rdtgroup_kn_put() in the resctrl subsystem when concurrently releasing an rdtgroup reference and tearing down a resctrl directory. A local user can trigger the race between rdtgroup_kn_put() and bulk rdtgroup teardown to trigger a use-after-free condition.
