Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a use-after-free condition.

The vulnerability exists due to improper reference counting in restore_dm_crypt_keys_to_thread_keyring() when restoring more than five saved dm-crypt keys. A local user can cause multiple saved dm-crypt keys to be restored during crash dump processing to cause a use-after-free condition.
