Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper handling of duplicate identifiers in the SCMI channel setup routine when processing malformed firmware with duplicate protocol child nodes. A local user can provide malformed firmware with duplicate protocol child nodes to cause a denial of service.
