Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to allocation of resources without limits or throttling in the MQTT retained message store when processing retained message publications. A remote user can retain-publish messages to unlimited distinct topics to cause a denial of service.

The rabbitmq_mqtt plugin must be enabled.
