Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to disclose sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to improper handling of exceptional conditions in the RISC-V BPF JIT compiler's arena load_acquire handling when executing a BPF program containing a faulting PROBE_ATOMIC load_acquire. A local user can trigger the fault and leak a stale register value through a map to disclose sensitive information.
