Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote user to cause a command to be incorrectly reported as successful.

The vulnerability exists due to improper handling of exceptional conditions in nvmet_execute_get_log_page_rmi() when allocating a log buffer for an RMI log page request. A remote user can send an RMI log page request during a log buffer allocation failure to cause a command to be incorrectly reported as successful.
