Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to use-after-free in the MDP4 and MDP5 KMS initialization error-handling paths when KMS initialization fails partway through. A local user can trigger a KMS initialization failure to cause a denial of service.
