Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a local user to trigger a use-after-free.
The vulnerability exists due to failure to clear dangling pointers in uart_register_driver() when processing a subsequent device probe after a failed driver registration. A local user can cause a driver registration failure and bind a PL011 port again to trigger a use-after-free.
